I have taught many children over the years that I have been teaching guitar with ages ranging from under ten right up to late teens. I have taught grades from varying syllabuses including Rockschool and RGT and can confidently give music theory lessons to those taking music at GCSE level and higher.
I enjoy working with younger people and have experience working in schools and with youth groups. I always try to keep my lessons engaging and take a relaxed, measured approach in order to create a supportive and fun environment for my students.
As with adult guitar lessons, I offer a free first guitar lesson to all younger students and I encourage parents to take an active role in the learning experience if they wish.
